Home Groups at God’s Army International Ministry Poland
At God’s Army International Ministry Poland, we believe in the power of community and the importance of doing life together. Our Home Groups provide a space where we can gather outside the church building to connect, grow, and encourage one another. Every Wednesday at 6 PM, we meet in different members’ homes by region to share the Word of God, pray, and develop strong, meaningful relationships.
Our Home Groups are not just Bible studies—they are family gatherings. They are a place where we come together as brothers and sisters in Christ, growing in our faith and supporting each other through life’s joys and challenges.
A Place for Fellowship and Growth
The early church in the book of Acts is a beautiful example of believers meeting together regularly for fellowship, breaking bread, and growing in their faith. In Acts 2:46-47, we read:
“Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.”
Just like the early church, our Home Groups provide an opportunity to meet together regularly in an informal, intimate setting. This environment allows us to deepen our understanding of God’s Word, share life together, and experience true Christian fellowship. It is in these small, personal gatherings that we are able to grow closer to one another and experience the unity that Christ desires for His body.
Studying the Word Together
Each Home Group meeting revolves around the study of God’s Word. Whether we’re diving into a specific passage, exploring biblical themes, or discussing practical ways to apply Scripture in our everyday lives, our time together is centered on the teachings of Jesus. The Bible says in Colossians 3:16:
“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.”
Through our Home Groups, we seek to let God’s Word dwell in us richly. We encourage one another in our faith, teach one another, and help each other understand how to live according to God’s will. It’s not just about knowledge—it’s about transformation through applying God’s truth to our lives.
Building Meaningful Relationships
At God’s Army International Ministry, we believe that relationships are key to spiritual growth. Our Home Groups are designed to create a warm, welcoming environment where members can build strong, lasting friendships. It’s a place where you can share your life, pray together, and support one another through both the ups and downs.
In 1 Thessalonians 5:11, Paul encourages believers:
“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”
These gatherings are more than just a time to study the Bible—they are an opportunity to encourage one another, celebrate victories, and provide comfort and support during challenging times. As we develop close relationships, we become a stronger body of believers who can stand together and bear one another’s burdens.
A Place for Prayer and Support
Our Home Groups also provide a space for prayer. We believe in the power of prayer, and we dedicate time to lift up the needs of one another. Whether it’s personal struggles, health concerns, family matters, or something else, we come together to pray for each other.
James 5:16 reminds us:
“Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”
In our Home Groups, we pray for one another, stand in agreement for breakthroughs, and support each other through intercession. It’s a place where we can open our hearts, share our struggles, and allow the power of prayer to bring healing and restoration.
A Family Outside the Church Building
Home Groups are like a family outside of our regular church services. While Sunday services are a time for worship and hearing the Word preached to the larger congregation, Home Groups offer a more personal, intimate space for deeper relationships and spiritual growth. In these groups, everyone has the chance to speak, ask questions, and share what God is doing in their lives.
Hebrews 10:24-25 encourages us:
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
We don’t want to just meet together on Sundays and forget each other the rest of the week. Our Home Groups help us stay connected, encourage one another in our spiritual journeys, and hold each other accountable. It’s a place where everyone belongs, and no one has to walk alone.
Get Involved and Join a Home Group
We invite everyone at God’s Army International Ministry Poland to join a Home Group. Whether you are new to the faith, have been walking with Jesus for many years, or are simply looking to deepen your connection with other believers, Home Groups are the perfect place for you.
We meet every Wednesday at 6 PM in members’ homes, by region, to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to participate and build relationships within their local community. If you’re interested in joining a Home Group, please reach out to us, and we’ll help connect you with a group near you.
Growing Together as a Family
At God’s Army International Ministry Poland, we believe that spiritual growth happens best in community. Our Home Groups are an opportunity for us to gather together in a relaxed and personal setting, to study the Word, encourage one another, pray for each other, and grow in our relationships with God and with one another.
We encourage you to take part in our Home Groups as we grow together in faith, love, and unity. Let’s continue to build each other up, share life, and strengthen our bond as the family of God.
