LIVING FROM GOD’S REALM
PART ONE
«“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” — 1 John 5:4»
It is important to know that God is a Spirit and that He created you and I in His image so that we can function in His realm.
It takes a man who lives from God’s realm to live above the corruption of this world.
If you come from the realm of God, you cannot be trapped or oppressed by what oppresses men in this realm.
Romans 8:1 says:
«“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus…”»
And 1 John 5:4 says:
«“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world…”»
The whole world lies in wickedness (1 John 5:19), but the man who lives from above does not have to languish in the mundane. You are not subject to the influence, wickedness, and evil of this world—you overcome them.
Jesus said:
«“Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God… so is every one that is born of the Spirit.” — John 3:5, 8»
THE ORIGINAL DESIGN OF MAN
Let’s explore Genesis 1:26:
«“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion…”»
This is where man was given dominion over all the earth. There was no limitation here.
God’s agenda was to extend His dominion and His kingdom on earth through man.
But the earth was corrupted because Adam was corrupted. That was why man needed redemption, and that redemption was procured by Jesus Christ, our Saviour.
When Adam lost the glory, he became subject to defeat, sickness, poverty, and death. Man lost glory, dominion, power, and access.
GOD’S MERCY AND THE PLAN OF REDEMPTION
When God drove man out of the garden and placed a cherubim there to guard the way to the tree of life, it was an act of mercy.
God would not allow fallen man to continue in that condition forever.
Man had fallen, but God’s plan had not failed.
Jesus came to restore what was lost.
John 10:10 says:
«“I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”»
Through Jesus, God brought us into eternal life—a life from a realm that is not of this world.
THE LIFE YOU HAVE RECEIVED
2 Peter 1:3-4 says:
«“According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness…”»
And we have become partakers of the divine nature.
This is the life we carry.
Your supply is not limited to the resources of this world, flesh, and blood.
Philippians 4:19 says:
«“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”»
Anytime God’s will is at work, the reality of God is there—a reality of no limit.
You are in this world, but the life you have received is from God.
NEVER GIVE UP HOPE
No matter how battered you are, never give up hope.
There is hope for a tree.
There is a spirit in man.
Jesus said:
«“The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.”»
2 Corinthians 4:8-18 reminds us that we may be troubled, perplexed, persecuted, and cast down, but we are not destroyed.
There is always a comeback.
For the righteous may fall many times, but he rises again.
When men are saying, “There is a casting down,” you can say:
“The joy of the Lord is my strength.”
You carry eternal life.
You carry divine possibilities.
The question is: Do you know what you carry?
