Welfare Ministry at God’s Army International Ministry Poland

At God’s Army International Ministry Poland, we believe that the love of Christ compels us to care for the less fortunate and serve those in need. Our Welfare Ministry is committed to providing assistance to individuals and families who are experiencing financial hardship, homelessness, or other challenges. This ministry is a vital part of our church’s outreach, and we strive to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community, extending compassion, hope, and practical help to those who need it most.

The Heart of Our Welfare Ministry: Serving Others with Compassion

The Bible is clear that caring for the poor and vulnerable is an essential part of living out our faith. Matthew 25:35-40 records Jesus’ words:
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.”

When we serve the less privileged, we are not just helping people in need—we are serving Jesus Himself. Our Welfare Ministry is driven by this understanding. We aim to provide support, whether through food, clothing, shelter, or emotional and spiritual care, to ensure that individuals and families experience the love and compassion of Christ.

Meeting the Needs of the Less Privileged

Our Welfare Ministry reaches out to individuals and families in the community who are struggling due to poverty, illness, or other difficult circumstances. We believe that no one should feel forgotten or abandoned, and we are committed to being a source of help and hope in their time of need. Our efforts are focused on providing tangible support, including:

• Food Assistance: Providing essential food items to families and individuals who are struggling to meet their basic needs.

• Clothing and Essentials: Distributing clothing, hygiene products, and other necessary supplies to those who are lacking them.

• Financial Assistance: Offering financial help for medical bills, housing, or other critical needs as resources allow.

• Community Outreach: Organizing events and activities that foster a sense of community and provide practical help for those who need it.

Through these efforts, we aim to bring dignity, hope, and relief to those who are facing tough situations.

Caring for Others as Jesus Did

Jesus’ life and ministry were marked by His compassion for the poor, the sick, and the marginalized. He calls us to follow His example by caring for others with love and generosity. In Luke 4:18, Jesus declares:
“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free.”

Our Welfare Ministry reflects this mission of bringing hope to the hurting and helping those in need. Whether it’s through providing food, offering financial assistance, or simply being a listening ear, we believe that when we serve others, we are partnering with God in His work of restoration and healing in the world.

Serving as the Body of Christ

At God’s Army International Ministry Poland, we understand that every member of the body of Christ is called to serve. 1 Corinthians 12:27 tells us:
“Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.”

Our Welfare Ministry provides an opportunity for members of our church to actively serve by giving, volunteering, and supporting those who are in need. Whether through donations of time, resources, or finances, we come together as a community to make a difference in the lives of others. Each person’s involvement helps us reach those who are struggling and show them the love of Christ in a tangible way.

How You Can Get Involved

There are many ways you can be part of the Welfare Ministry and help make a difference in the lives of others. Some ways you can get involved include:

• Donating: Contribute non-perishable food items, clothing, hygiene products, or financial support to help those in need.

• Volunteering: Join us in organizing and distributing care packages, visiting families, or serving in other ways that meet the needs of the less privileged.

• Prayer: Pray for those who are struggling and for our efforts to reach and support them with the love of Christ.

• Spreading the Word: If you know someone in need, let them know about our Welfare Ministry and how we can help.

As Galatians 6:2 reminds us:
“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”

The Biblical Call to Generosity

Generosity is a hallmark of the Christian life, and through our Welfare Ministry, we are called to live out this principle by meeting the needs of those around us. 2 Corinthians 9:6-7 teaches us:
“Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”

When we give to others, we reflect the generosity of our Heavenly Father, who has given us so much. Our Welfare Ministry provides a practical outlet for the church to share its resources with those who are in need, and we do so with joy, knowing that God will bless our efforts and multiply them.
