God’s Purpose for Marriage
Marriage is God’s idea, designed to reveal His love, character, and glory. A Christ-centred marriage goes beyond the union of two people; it is a spiritual covenant built on love, mutual respect, godly submission, and commitment to honouring Jesus Christ. Through its three dimensions—spiritual, emotional, and physical—marriage provides a foundation for companionship, emotional support, destiny fulfilment, and raising godly children. As Christ loves the Church sacrificially, husbands are called to love their wives, and wives to honour and submit to their husbands in reverence to God. Discover how to build a marriage rooted in God’s Word, strengthened by grace, and established to reflect the love of Christ and bring glory to His name (Ephesians 5:25–29; Genesis 2:18).
