SAMRITAN PURSE OPERATION – CHRISTMAS CHILD

Your gift to “Where Most Needed” equips Samaritan’s Purse with the resources—including personnel, materials, supporting services, buildings, and equipment—to fulfill our mission of relief and evangelism worldwide.

MISSION OF CHRISTMAS SURPRISES “The mission of Christmas Surprise is to show God’s love in a practical way in need of children around the world in order to communicate the Good News about Jesus Christ”.

Our task is not only to give parcels to children, but also to give them the Good News that Jesus Christ died for each of them, then he rose again and now lives, loves them, wants to look after them and wants to be theirs. We want to show children through this small gesture of giving preferences how much God is interested in them and show them His love.

After distributing packages, we invite children to the fascinating program of ” The Greatest Journey “. The Greatest Journey is a series of amazing lessons that take children on a journey of God’s Word.

Children learn interesting stories of Biblical heroes, such as Adam and Eve, Zacheous, David, Good Samaritan and Jesus himself. These lessons are designed to bring children closer to God, to have better knowledge and understanding of him.

Classes take place in a nice and child-friendly atmosphere, in the presence of two teachers specially trained for it. To preserve the lessons of the Greatest Journey we use specially prepared for children textbooks, which contain fragments from the Bible, various tasks, and puzzles that encourage children to think independently and deal with different situations. Parents/guardians of children, for whom we can offer coffee and small refreshments, can take part in classes. We make sure that children feel safe, loved, tolerated because that is the nature of God.

After completing the course there is a ceremonial handing over of the most magnificent certificate, and giving away additional gifts.
